Battle Royale

Middle-school Japanese classmates are drugged, fitted with exploding lo-jack collars, given various weapons, and turned loose on an island. They have three days to kill each other off until one (and only one) is left standing. If anyone fucks with their collar, it explodes; if anyone tries to screw up the game, their collar explodes; if more than one is still alive at the end of three days, everyone's collar explodes.

It was actually pretty good!

Kind of a "Lord of the Flies" with school girl outfits, scythes, and machine guns (other weapons include a pot lid, knives, tasers, crossbows, axes, and so on).

My favorite part was the instructional video they're made to watch before the game begins, with their seventh grade teacher trying to get them to pay attention and behave.

Fun and gorey, alternately bloodthirsty and sentimental, some pretty interesting characters, and true love, heheh....
